Product Overview
A perpetual license is a license that does not expire, it continues to authorize Pro Tools even if you do not renew your plan. This perpetual licence of Pro Tools includes 12 months of software updates. Auto-renew is not an option with this license since the license is perpetual and your account reflects the most current software based on the status of your Plan (current version for active Plans, last version released during your Plan's term for expired Plans).
If you allow the Updates and Support Plan to lapse, you can continue to use the installed version of the software. If you need to reactivate a lapsed Updates and/or Support Plan, this requires purchase of a Reinstatement Plan. If your Updates and Support Plan is nearing it's expiration, this requires purchase of a Renewal Plan
This software requires an iLok licence to operate. If operating without an internet connection a physical iLok dongle is required. The iLok dongle is not included in this purchase. A constant internet connection is required for authorising the software with iLok Cloud rather than a physical iLok dongle.
This licence ships in box packaging but includes only an activation code, download is still required. Contact us if you don't require the physcial packaging and we can send your licence electronicially.
