Used Fender Japan ST-357V built in the FujiGen facility some tie between 1984-1987.
Some play wear on the maPle fingerboard, right down to the rolling of the edge by the owner who well played and loved this guitar. Frets, however, are in excellent shape.
One ding through the paint on the reverse side of the body on the top horn, buckle indents that are not easy to photograph, and a couple of cracks in screw holes in trem cavoty plate, slight scracthes axcross the headstock face around the 1st string post, but in otherwise great shape.
The original tremolo has been removed and replaced with a superior Gotoh 510 trem, as a result some very minor routing has taken place to accomodate the Gotoh. If one was to want this system dead flat to the body you can note that some further routing to the trem cavoty would be required to allow the trem block to travel slightly further toward the spring claw. As it stands, with a very minor upward angle to the trem the trem block is hard to the trem cavity.
Pickups, pots, wiring and Gotoh tuners appear original. Aftermarket Graphtech string trees fitted.
A great example of this sought after era of FujiGen production with that neck, spank and feel that makes them what they are.
