Featuring vintage circuitry, a pre-EQ circuit for precise tone-shaping and six different reverb modes including room, plate, and hall, the Boss RV-2 Digital Reverb brings the renowned versatility of Boss pedals with the coveted Japanese circuitry in older models.
The world's first compact, stompbox-sized digital reverb pedal, the RV-2 set the precedent for what a digital pedal can do, and is still an excellent avenue for attaining a wide breadth of reverb without eating up board space or your wallet.
Produced for just two years between 1987 and 1989. One of the only BOSS pedals that is not able to be operated with a standard 9V battery due to it's large, for the time, current draw of 130mA.
