Note, neck pocket is marked as JST-6R model number, but this is not a Fender model. It is, however, a FGN (Fujigen) model, so you'd have to presume a mix up with the clearly interchangeable Fender and FGN bodies at a factory level. R would also denote a Rosewood fingerboard. This neck is what this guitar shipped with, as evidenced by its serial number, which matches the date markings in the neck pocket, and the specs that check out to the period for Fender Japan models.
