Product Overview
This Edwards EJ-78TV is the signature model of the Japanese bassist Jun Onose, better known as J in the band Luna Sea. Edwards is a Japan exclusive brand under ESP, dedicated to being essentially what LTD is to ESP outside of Japan, with Grassroots being the more budget and Edwards bridging the gap between Grassroots and E-II.
The bass is modelled after a Gibson doublecut complete with open book headstock, sporting a double soapbar pickup configuratiion (not to be confused with the earlier E-J-70TV, which used a double humbucker configuration) allowing for greater compatibility with modern aftermarket pickups.
The bass is also equipped with Gotoh hardware and is in near mint condition, with the only evidence of any wear being some minor buckle rash on the back of the instrument. From a frontfacing point of view, the instrument is close to perfect.
