Basic Series used Mahogany as a top, back and side wood.
Mahogany - Quarter-sawn straight grain mahogany is light weight and hard, subsequently it delivers a fast tonal transfer, a bright and organic tone and the bass is on the warmer side.
At aNueNue when they use laminated mahogany for their back and sides, they place the straight grain mahogany veneers at each side and for the center they use Poplar wood to ensure that the whole construction is light weight, stable and climate adaptable.
